Turbo Trainer Rocker Plate

Ok, I,m no racer, I ride for fun. Until recently all my cycling was on the road, however I have been riding on my trainer for several months. I have a Wahoo KickR and a few months ago added a Wahoo Climb.
I have racked up a good few miles on Zwift now but found that due to the fixed and rigid nature of the trainer, my ride comfort was non existent bordering on real discomfort with numbness where you don’t want numbness.
That's how I stumbled on rocker plates. After some research I liked the look of the Omnirocker for its features, plus the build quality looked excellent which I can now confirm it is and it feels like it will last a lifetime.
So how does this heavyish (92kg) old fella get on with it? I’ve now ridden close to 300 miles in just over 3 weeks and I love it. It feels so natural and comfortable because as on the road, the bike now moves around under you. I even find that I lean into corners just for fun. Ok being honest I did wobble a bit on the first ride and then when I tried to stand for uphill gradients I wobbled some more. Then it all just clicked. I read somewhere rocker plates prevent proper sprinting and I can’t confirm or deny that as I never had a sprint in me. But I can give it my best to the same degree of effort as I could before.
Would I recommend an Omnirocker? - absolutely. To put things into context, as much as love my Wahoo climb if I could only have that or the Omnirocker I would choose the Omnirocker.

Made indoor cycling enjoyable and sessions longer. Well-made product and makes you feel more like that your riding as you would outside. The bike moves in a natural way so does not get the stresses like before. Highly recommended.

Really enjoying my new omnirocker, being a heavier person i use to struggle with indoor cycling after about 40minutes as my bum would start feeling it. Since using the omnirocker i can easily do over an hour with no pain. Also you do get a more realistic ride with all the movements. It feels also the stress factor put on the bike as in my previous set up is lot less if any at all. I would highly recommend. I definitely enjoy indoor cycling so much more now. I’m unable to praise both the product and it’s purveyor, Martin, highly enough. Yes, the Omnirocker is an expensive purchase, but the return has already more than repaid the investment. I am delighted to verify that it has transformed my indoor riding experience exponentially to a new level and directly responsible for having refreshed and greatly enhanced my enjoyment. The Omnirocker-Stealth itself is robust and has an aesthetically pleasing design and crafted construction. It is a lovely object. Adaptation to the new, literally moving experience, has taken time. I’m particularly appreciative of the overriding natural and unobtrusive subtlety of the 2-axis movement. It just feels so right. A veritable velo-gestalt. When it comes to riding out of the saddle I remain persevering. It has confused my muscle memory, derived from years on a static turbo. As a consequence my experience is not so much danseuse as discombobulation. However I hasten to add that the problem is me and not the Omnirocker. So work in progress. Conversely, my sprinting has gone stratospheric! Conclusion: the Omnirocker has been unequivocally transformative, exhilarating, FUN! It has more than fulfilled my hopes and intentions when deciding to buy it and I particularly wish to thank Martin for his exceptional craftsmanship and exemplary service.

The Omnirocker transforms indoor riding, improving comfort to a level mimicking riding outdoors.
Riding for long periods of time is now possible as the pressure is forever changing as it would in the real world. I'm using it with the Kickr V5 and Climb, and while there are new motion trainers on the market, I don't see how they would ever compare with this.
The quality of the product is second to none and worth every penny. As for the level of service, Martin goes above and beyond to ensure total satisfaction.
I cannot rate the Omnirocker or service provided highly enough.
