Been uhming and ahhing about a rocker plate for a while - I hadn't seen the Omnirocker but once I spotted the reviews and saw there was a specific Kickr bike version in a price point that was far better than some of the other options around, it felt like a no brainer.
It took me a couple of rides to get used to the feeling out of the saddle - but once that was cracked (thanks to Martin pointing me to a YouTube video explainer) it's been just fantastic.
As anyone who spends any significant time on an indoor trainer knows, the feeling of rigidity is what kills us - whilst a rocker plate will never be able to fully replicate the outdoor movement, this is as close as you're going to get - but at least no-one is going to try and kill you whilst you're on it!
If indoor riding is something you intend to stick with then I'd strongly recommend you get one - it's as sensible as getting a decent smart trainer or a good pair of bib shorts. Comfort is your friend.
