I bought an Omnirocker not for sprinting feel but to attempt to improve my comfort on the trainer for long sessions. As an ultra distance rider I rarely sprint or even get out of the saddle, but I found the fixed nature of my bike on the Tacx Neo2 to be extremely uncomfortable after 20 mins of riding. I’d tried all sorts of adjustments, even spent hundreds on the Tacx motion runners, but could not break the 20 minute discomfort limit. It took a few hours of riding, but on the Omnirocker I’ve been putting in 2-3 hour sessions with very little discomfort beyond which I’d perhaps experience outdoors too.
Not much is said about using a rocker plate for comfort vs sprinting ‘feel’ but it’s been a game changer for me. If you’re looking for the same you won’t be disappointed - just give it a few hours over a few rides for your body to adjust and it will settle in a marvellous way.
Can’t recommend Omnirocker enough on quality, service, and actual usage outcomes.
